: The online application process for Jamia Milia Islamia (JMI) B.Tech admission has started on December 5, 2017. Candidates planning to take admission in JMI have to fill JEE Main 2018 application form 2018 and JMI B.Tech application form 2018 separately. As per JMI B.Tech application form, candidates have to pay application fee of Rs 550 along with additional bank charges. Candidates can fill and submit JMI B.Tech 2018 application form till March 7, 2018. The application form of JMI B.Tech 2018 can be filled in multiple stages which include registration, filling personal, academic and communication details, uploading of images, choice of examination centres and online fee payment among others. Candidates have to fill JMI B.Tech application form online and submit it by March 7. The important dates related to JMI B.Tech application form 2018 has been released by Jamia Milia Islamia. JMI B.Tech Application Form 2018 – Requirements

Candidates must keep the following details ready before filling JMI B.Tech application form :
  • Email ID and mobile number
  • Scanned image of recent coloured passport sized photograph, signature and thumb impression (specifications are given below)
  • JEE Main 2018 registration number
  • Debit card/ net banking/ credit card details for fee payment

How to fill JMI B.Tech Application Form 2018

Candidates must check the following eight steps to fill the application form. It is advised to fill the application form of JMI B.Tech 2018 in capital letters.

Step 1: JMI B.Tech Registration
Candidates have to click on the link provided here to access the JMI B.Tech application form 2018. After clicking on the link, candidates need to register themselves first. To register, following details have to be filled:
  • Email ID
  • Password
  • Full name
  • Date of birth
  • Category
  • Valid mobile number
After entering all the above details candidates have to click on ‘Confirm & Submit’ and candidates have to check their filled in Email ID or Mobile for the application code. The link to proceed with the application will also be sent to the Email ID. Save the ‘application code’ and clicking on the link will open the application form. On the page displayed through the link, application code has to be entered.
Step 2: JMI B.Tech preferences of courses and category
Candidates must select course type and course name from the drop-down boxes given at the bottom. Candidates must check the eligibility and in case you are eligible for the course to click the check box and enter courses by clicking ‘Add Course’ button. After choosing the preferences and selecting preferred category click on ‘Save & Continue’.
Step 3: Filling up JMI B.Tech Application
A dashboard will be displayed on the screen, which will contain all the sections that need to be filled step by step. Candidates have to click on ‘Application Details’.
Application Details: Candidates have to enter the following personal details.
  • JEE Main 2018 Registration Number
  • Aadhaar Number
  • Candidate Name (Already filled)
  • Father’s Name
  • Mother’s Name
  • Guardian’s Name (if any)
  • Emergency Contact Number
  • Date of Birth
  • Sex
  • Social Category
  • Nationality
  • Religion
  • Blood Group
  • Permanent Address
  • Click on “Save & Continue” to move to the next step.
Step 4: Uploading documents
To upload the image file of scanned passport size colour photograph and signature, candidates must click the button 'Upload Photograph and Signature' button. On clicking, candidates have to upload following images photograph and signature with specifications below:
Photograph and Signature details: Scanned passport photo and signature should be within 3.5 x 4.5 cm in size, scanning resolution should be within 100 dpi & file size should be less than 100 KB.
Step 5: Academic qualification details
Candidates will be required to fill the academic details, which are as follows:
  • Select of JMI B.Tech exam centre – Candidates must test centre of their choice in the academic details.
  • Senior Secondary details- Board, year of passing/appearing, subjects, marks obtained, total marks, marks in percentage and CGPA.
  • Higher Secondary details- Board, year of passing, subjects, marks obtained, total marks, marks in percentage and CGPA.
  • Diploma details- University/college, year of passing/appearing, subjects, marks obtained, total marks, marks in percentage.
After filling the above details, candidates need to click on ‘Save & Continue’.
Step 6: Preview of JMI B.Tech Application form 2018
All the above-submitted details in JMI B.Tech 2018 application form will be displayed on the screen for the candidates to modify any information. A declaration will be given at the end of the page stating that the candidate is not debarred from admission in JMI and he/she do not have any criminal case filed against him/her. Click on ‘Confirm & Submit’ button for submission of application. After the confirmation, JMI B.Tech 2018 application form with the declaration for the review and for any modifications. If candidates want to rectify any data in the JMI B.Tech application form then, click on ‘Go back to My Application’.
After clicking on the option, Registration ID, Course Code, Course Name and other essential information will appear on the screen. Candidates must note it down for future use.
Step 7: Payment of Application Fees
The Application Fee paid by the candidates is Rs. 550/- for all the category candidates. The Online Payment Charges Rs. 10/- has to be paid by the aspirants only. The Application Fee of the application form has to be paid by candidate in online and offline mode through:
Payment mode -
Online Mode: Credit/debit cards, ATM-cum-Debit card, net banking, cash card, credit card (EMI).
Offline Mode: Candidates who do not have net banking facility/credit card or ATM cum debit card, can pay the fee in cash at any branch of State Bank of India through the Challan downloaded from the Entrance Test Portal. Candidates will be able to download the duly filled up State Bank of India challan from the Entrance Test Portal only when they select the ‘cash payment’ option while filling the JMI B.Tech application form online.
Note: The JMI B.Tech application form 2018 can be submitted only after the payment of application fee.
Step 8: Print out of confirmation page
After the completion and payment of the JMI B.Tech 2018 application form, a confirmation page will be displayed on the screen. Candidates are advised to take a print out of the confirmation page for future references.
Jamia Milia Islamia will offer admission to B.Tech programmes based on the scores in JEE Main 2018 examination to be conducted by CBSE. To apply for JMI B.Tech 2018 candidates are required to fill JEE Main application form 2018 available from December 1, 2018. The seats for B.Tech courses will be allotted based on the merit obtained in JEE Main 2018 and admission criteria set by Jamia Milia Islamia.
